Job Description:
The Penguin Internship offers an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in the publishing industry to gain hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading publishing houses. Interns will work alongside industry professionals, contribute to various aspects of the publishing process, and develop essential skills for a career in publishing.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of marketing content and campaigns.
- Attend meetings and creative workshop sessions.
- Research cultural trends and reading habits by audience.
- Develop skills in communication, relationship building, audience insights, content creation, graphic design, administration, copywriting, and event management.
Requirements:
- Must be over 18 at the point of placement.
- Must not have participated in a training program with Penguin Random House in any department within the last 6 months.
- Must have access to a computer/laptop, Wi-Fi, and a safe and comfortable working space.
- Must have the right to work and train in the UK for the duration of the program.
- Must be able to join the London offices for at least 2 days each week.
- No specific degree or prior work experience is required.
