Overview:
We offers to “Internship Program” applications from Structural Engineering students who are enthusiastic and passionate about engineering and design for the role of Structural Engineer Intern in Foster + Partners’ Structural Engineering team.
Internship Details
- Duration: Minimum 2 months, up to a maximum of 12 months
- Eligibility: Students beginning their final year of their first degree or about to start their MSc in Structural Engineering
This is a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and work alongside our talented team on innovative projects
Responsibilities:
Join Framestore’s design team as an intern, where you will:
- Collaborate with the design team to determine and study structural solutions
- Perform calculations and compile reports
- Conduct research and undertake other tasks that reflect a structural engineer’s professional duties
- Contribute to key film, advertising, and tech projects
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or have recently graduated
Requirements
- Strong foundation in and enthusiasm for visual effects, animation, and creative storytelling
- Interest in or studying subjects like visual effects, animation, gaming, real-time computing, computer science, film/TV production, design, photography, illustration, or fine art
- Good understanding of structural engineering theory and principles
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Legally able to work in the United Kingdom
- Strong time management, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
