Responsibilities:

• Aggregate sector/market news and trade flows through communication with sell-side traders to update the trading floor.
• Analyze and develop trade ideas in fixed income products.
• Communicate with sell-side traders, economists, and strategists to understand current market dynamics.
• Support senior portfolio managers in managing client accounts.
• Create tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in the financial markets, macroeconomics, investments, and finance.
• Excellent work ethic, integrity, and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following: Python, SQL, and/or VBA.
• Outstanding analytical and mathematical skills.
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualification:

• Undergraduate students currently pursuing a degree with an expected graduation date of December 2023 – June 2025.
• Minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university.
• Field of study that provides exposure to financial/capital markets, economics, mathematics, engineering, or applied sciences
